The How & Why intake mounted PMD coolers for GM 6.5 Diesel and 6.5 Turbo Diesel Engines, do NOT work correctly.

The above image illustrates how heat builds up under the typical intake mount version of PMD coolers, one of our many initial designs was to mount with an "air-gap" between the cooler and the HOT engine, but then realizing that intake mounted cooler units still draw too much heat from the HOT engine, our founder Jim came up with the design of The PMD Remote Harness allowing our unit to be mount OFF & AWAY from the HOT engine!
